Girls End the Season Undefeated with Glorious Away Win

The Girls MS LAX team had an incredible final game against long time rival, Moses Brown on Tuesday. It was a fast, back and forth game throughout both halves. The girls collaborated and persevered through an aggressive game, with strong communication on defense. The game ended 7-6 with RHS securing an undefeated season! Thank you to the RHS community for coming out to support the MS Girls LAX team all season!

5/7/19 – MS Girls Lacrosse v Gordon

Great Competition in High Scoring Game

  • RHS 12, Gordon 10

The MS Girls LAX team had their most competitive game of the season this Tuesday against Gordon. The game ended with RHS defeating Gordon 12-10. Our girls played aggressively throughout the game and focused on quick passing. The team is excited to continue this momentum into the last few weeks of the season.

5/2/19 – MS Girls Lacrosse v St. Michaels

Strong Home Game Showing for Girls Lacrosse

  • RHS 11, SMCD 4

MS Girls LAX had a strong game on Thursday against St. Michaels. RHS had 27 shots on goals by 11 different people. Our goalies had a combined total of 6 saves and all of our players got to play for at least 10 minutes of the game. RHS ended the game with 11 goals and an impressive 13 forced turnovers.

4/25/19 – MS Girls Lacrosse @ St. Philomena

MS Girls Play Hard in Victory

  • RHS 6, St. Philomena 0

The MS Girls had a great game against St. Philomena on Thursday. All our players got to play, including our fifth graders. Our defense was aggressive against a competitive team, which served as a good match up. Our goalies had a combined 5 saves and the game ended with RHS scoring 8 goals.

4/23/19 – MS Girls Lacrosse v Pine Point

MS Lady Mariners Following in Varsity Footsteps

  • RHS 16, Pine Point 6

The MS Girls’ LAX team had a game against Pine Point on Tuesday. This game served as a positive reality check for our girls, as the beginning of the game as very back and forth. In the second half, the girls were able to get back into a good flow, maintaining a lead through the rest of the game. Our goalies had a combined total of 9 saves and the midfielders controlled 12 of the 16 draws.

4/16/19 – MS Girls Lacrosse @ St. Michaels

MS Girls Continue Winning Ways

  • RHS 17, SMCD 4

The MS Girls LAX team had a great game on Tuesday against St. Michaels. Every player got to play large portions of the game and the attack executed many plays that allowed them to move the ball around the fan. The game ended with 17 goals scored by 8 different players.

4/10/19 – MS Girls Lacrosse v Pennfield

Game Two and More Great Play by MS Lady Mariners

  • Rocky Hill 15, Pennfield 6

The MS Girls LAX team had an excellent game on Wednesday. They focused on passing and running plays inside the fan. The goalies had a combined total of 5 saves, assisted by a strong defense consisting of new and experienced players. By the end of the game, RHS had 15 goals scored by 6 players.

4/8/19 – MS Girls Lacrosse v Lincoln B

All Girls Got Into The Game in Home Opener

  • Rocky Hill 12, Lincoln B 0

The MS Girls LAX team had their first home game this week. With an early lead, every player played for a large portion of the game. Our new players impressed us with their determination, many of whom had never played lacrosse before this season. They finished the game with 12 goals scored by 7 different players.

5/23/18 – MS Girls Lacrosse @ PCD

13-2 Win

The girls finished their season with a rainy win over PCD, 13 – 2. Rachel Arabian lead the scoring charge with four goals while Lizzie Hayes, Sydney Boss, and Kaeley Zito each scored a hat trick. Katie Kerachsky had her best game in goal with a season record shut out with eight saves.
