Boys’ Varsity Soccer Records Back-to-Back Wins with 3-0 Win over Williams
- Sophomore Marlon Monterroso recorded the first hat trick of his varsity career.
- Freshman Drew Tamburini recorded his second career shut-out.
Rocky Hill dominated Williams on Saturday afternoon, cruising to a 3-0 victory in their first road game of the season. Sophomore Marlon Monterroso scored the first hat trick of his varsity career, with two assist from captain Andrew Zito. Freshmen Garrett Corsi continued to impress in the midfield, and also notched an assist. Junior Max Lehouiller had a solid game contributing in the midfield and defense and freshmen Bennett Fine came off the bench to log some solid minutes at the defensive midfield role. Freshmen goalkeeper Drew Tamburini recorded his second career shut-out.
“Marlon led our attack today, with his ability to find a hole to get his shot away and utilize space,” commented Coach Schatz.
Boys’ Varsity Soccer returns to action on September 26th with a contest at St. Andrews.
