  • 5th Grade Stepping Up Day in the Middle School, Wednesday, May 30, 8:10 – 10:45am. Students will visit academic classes and join the MS at morning break.
  • Annual Spanish Luncheon Field Trip, All 5th grade, 6th and 7th grade Spanish students, Thursday, May 31, 11:00am – 1:00pm.  Other 6th and 7th graders will have an on-campus, Gallo/Roman picnic.

From the 8th Grade Students:  Plastics in the Environment – PBL

For the past couple of weeks, our 8th grade science class has been working on a project about plastics and the environment focused mainly on what we can do to help. As part of the project, we have created a website and an Instagram that shows all of our research and what you can do to make a difference.  FOLLOW US!

Ocean Racer “Turn the Tide on Plastics” gets ready for the start of the onshore race. The 8th grade has been studying plastics in the ocean and environment as the science PBL, and were inspired by the focus on sustainability at the Volvo Ocean Race event.
