The Crayon Initiative: Share Your Colors!
As part of their Library crayon project with Mrs. Silva, the First Grade students have been collecting used and unwanted crayons to send to the Crayon Initiative. The Crayon Initiative collects used crayons, melts them down, makes new crayons, and donates them to children’s hospitals. Read more about the Crayon Initiative here: https://thecrayoninitiative.org . Crayons will be collected until this coming Thursday morning, May 31.
