Do you have your kite for this week’s Kite Day?Image result for kite images
This Tuesday, May 15 is our annual Kite Day.  This special Lower School tradition gathers our Lower School community together at the athletic fields for kite flying.  Families are invited to join us!  Please be sure your child brings an assembled and labeled kite to school that morning.  Weather permitting, the kites may be left on the grass outside Perkins Hall when students arrive in the morning.

We’re in need of volunteers…can you lend a hand?
If you are available to assist our P.E. Teacher, Sue Wood, with our Lower School Field Day on Friday, June 1, please contact her at swood@rockyhill.org at your earliest convenience.  Opportunities to help set-up, oversee events and/or groups, as well as clean-up are available.  Your support will be greatly appreciated!

Mindful Moment…
Mindfulness has found a positive, peaceful, and valuable niche within our Lower School community.

Cece and Choerab, our recent 5th Grade Lower School Gathering leaders, set this
beautiful intention for everyone, while listening to the calming ring of our Tibetan singing bowl…

When we are mindful, deeply in touch with the present moment,
Our understanding of what is going on deepens, and we begin to be
filled with acceptance, joy, peace and love.  ~Thich Nhat Hanh
