Next Week’s News! 4/20/2018
Happy sunny Friday!
Welcome to the last full week of April! Wow, the year is really flying!
Wednesday is Hatching Day! If all goes well, we should hear some peeps before the end of the day. Leave yourself a little time to enjoy the new babies!
The books we will be reading this week will include:
“Make way for Ducklings” by Robert McCloskey
“Mud Puddle” by Robert Munsch and Sami Soumalainen
“Jobs on the Farm” by Nancy Dickaman
“This Moose Belongs to Me” by Oliver Jeffers
“Bear’s New Friend” by Karma Wilson and Jane Chapman
Book orders went out yesterday. This will be the final book order of the school year. It’s time to stock up for the summer! All book orders are due by Friday, May 4th. If you prefer to order online, please go to www.scholastic.com and use our classroom code KP44F. Happy reading!
Our only Field Trip is coming up! We will be returning our chicks to Casey Farm on Wednesday, May 2nd. If your child is not going to attend, please let me know ASAP. Also, if you would like to chaperone our trip, let me know that too! Unfortunately, we will not be able to accommodate siblings that are not in either preschool or kindergarten.
Virtuoso Schedule:
Tuesday: Science with Mr. Wyzga and Spanish with Señora
Wednesday: Music with Ms. Emily
Thursday: P.E. with Mrs. Wood (sneakers please!)
Friday: Library with Mrs. Silva (don’t forget your Library book!)
I hope you will all join us at the Lower School Dance next Friday night, April 27th! Please RSVP today, www.rockyhill.org/glow
Our preschool end-of-year books are almost ready! If you would like to order a copy, you may make a check payable to Miss Amanda for $40 and she will order them all together! They are so cute!
